Absolutely, the worst dining experience i have ever had. Service was abysmal and that was the high point. The food would have been better in a Taco Bell restaurant 3 days after it burnt to the ground. Market fish was a single rubbery squid on a green paste. Two out of our 7 guest party that ordered this were unable to eat a single piece. The steak was a rump cut into slices with some soggy onions. Meals were delivered to the wrong table and one of our party was advised not to order the lamb as "it would take too long to cook". Even without ordering the lamb it somehow arrived, well overcooked. At the end, we were greeted with a $1,000 bill and 4 out of the 7 mains uneaten. Enter this place at your own peril.
Just an utter disappointment. I do not recommend going here at all. When booking, they never mentioned that a large group would automatically be placed on a set menu, but unfortunately, that was only the beginning. The chicken took over an hour to come out after the previous main, which were already very small portions in my opinion. The service was terrible; nobody came over to explain any delays. We had to go up to them after 50 minutes, and only then did they bother to tell us it would take a long time. And it gets worse. The set menu clearly stated that dessert would be tiramisu, yet they brought out cheesecake without saying a word. When questioned, they claimed that โthe dessert menu changes.โ Turns out they simply didnโt have enough tiramisu to accommodate our group. The servers were never apologetic and instead kept making excuses. Somehow the dessert menu can change last-minute, but the mains canโt? Even if I ignore all these issues, the food itself was extremely mediocre. Overall, a very disappointing experience and absolutely not worth it. By the way, all toilet lights upstairs are all not working so you have to use a torch. What a joke.
Been coming here for about 10 years and first time since the re fit-out. Also the first time having a burger ๐ and it was amazing.. probably the best burger Iโve ever hadโฆ. Which is a big call, but true. The steaks ๐ฅฉ here are amazing, along with all starters. Great vibe and canโt go wrong.
We went for the tasting menu which is absolutely a great experience. It starts from delicate flavours and gradually builds from there. Textures too. There are no trying-too-hard favours and such which we greatly appreciate - food shouldn't be complicated, if you know what I mean. Service is impeccable. Wine recommendations are superb. It's a busy place but there is still personal space between tables. We will be back.
booked for a Valentineโs Day dinner over a month in advance, arrived and we were told to sit outside. Upon booking it advised the menu selection was not set, however we were then told it was a specific set menu. The entree we were served to share was ridiculously small portioned, and the gnocchi fritti served was laughable for a chef to serve that on a plate. $215 for a very disappointing experience, no value for money. Staff were nice, but long wait times in-between service
